Students can sign up for Deezer Premium for half the price of regular subscriptions through their new partner, UNiDAYS.
Music streaming service Deezer has partnered with the world’s largest student discount website, UNiDAYS, to verify that students sign up for Deezer Student. With millions of students already registered, verifying through UNiDAYS simplifies the process between brands, including Deezer. Deezer Student is available to all university students, aged 18 to 25, in 30 countries.
Deezer Student members enjoy the same benefits as Deezer Premium members, such as 90 million ad-free tracks, all in HiFi quality, thousands of podcasts, custom mixes and playlists, and original content. With downloads, you can even take your music offline.
New and existing customers can instantly check their status through UNiDAYS Connect. Visit myunidays.com for more details and to register. To change subscription type, you must first cancel your current subscription.
Almost all major streaming services such as Spotify, YouTube Music (via YouTube Premium) and TIDAL offer discounted memberships for students, with Apple Music and Amazon Music also going through UNiDAYS. As is the case with Deezer, these services are usually offered for half the price of a regular subscription, which is $4.99 per month instead of $9.99 per month. In the UK, Deezer Premium subscriptions cost £11.99 per month, while student plans cost £5.99 per month. The first month is free, then automatically renews unless cancelled.
We’re excited to partner with Deezer to manage their student plan, maximizing conversion rate and increasing total program performance through demand generation, backed by consumer-authorized data. The partnership will benefit our core audience, providing students with a compelling online experience and access to a unique benefit.
Jon Hawley, Chief Identity Officer and Co-Founder of UNiDAYS, says
Being associated with a brand as closely tied to the student experience as UNiDAYS provides great benefits to our business and our customers. We believe this is a partnership that will drive both brands forward, introducing us both to new markets.
