Based within the Student Administration Partnerships team, you will provide support to University partners at every stage of the student journey. This includes student recruitment, admissions, registrations and student record keeping. This small, friendly team works closely with other areas of the University to provide student-focused service that adapts to the changing higher education environment.
Lincoln Medical School was founded in 2018 with the aim of improving the recruitment and retention of doctors in Lincolnshire. Through a collaborative partnership, the school offers the University of Nottingham medical degree programs enhanced with a Lincolnshire flavor. Classes are held at Lincoln’s Brayford Pool Campus in the brand new purpose-built Ross Lucas Medical Sciences Building.
About the position
This position will support the administration of Lincoln Medical School by establishing procedures to ensure an excellent student experience. The incumbent will support the School by providing an effective and efficient administrative support service. The incumbent will be expected to acquire a good knowledge of the complexities of the School and provide advice and guidance within the University. They will also be expected to work closely with key academic and administrative staff at all levels at the Universities of Lincoln and Nottingham.
About you
You will be an experienced administrator with a proven ability to work effectively as both a team leader and a member of a team. The ability to work in a team to meet performance requirements is therefore essential.
You will have experience working in a demanding, customer-focused environment and will be required to independently apply your knowledge and judgment to respond to complex queries on a daily basis.
